Electronic Hardware Engineering

The Overwatch team has a background that covers everything from requirements gathering to electromechanical integration. Capabilities include system architecture, initial breadboard prototypes, schematic capture, PCB layout, along with pre-production prototype management and testing. We can also troubleshoot existing designs as well as assist in reverse engineering products with outdated or unavailable documentation.

Mechanical Engineering

With vast experience that encompasses both plastic components and sheet metal parts, castings, extrusions, and machined pieces, the team can develop a mechanical design to fit within your cost and performance parameters.

Embedded Firmware Development

The team has the know how to efficiently implement applications using standards and protocols such as: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, USB, GPS, ANT, and Ethernet. Written in C/C++ and/or assembly languages across a multitude of embedded real-time operating systems. Microcontroller credentials include but not limited to Atmel, Microchip, SiLabs, Texas Instruments, and Freescale.

Prototype Manufacturing

Being longstanding members of the Product Development community, has allowed Overwatch to weed through the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to prototype supplier relationships. Overwatch believes so strongly in the value of these relationships, they go beyond making introductions and instead stake professional reputations on the line when prototypes are required.

Production Sourcing / Support

Overwatch can provide production sourcing and coordination for PCBs (domestic and offshore), sheet metal, extrusions, custom machining, tooling and injection molding (domestic and offshore) along with complete box build services.
