From an initial vision session to concept sketches to final photo realistic renderings, the Overwatch design group has a proven process that incorporates clients’ constraints while exploring the bounds of practicality. The members of the Overwatch design group blend style, usability, and manufacturability in equal parts as they work through the development process.
Electronic Hardware Engineering
The Overwatch hardware team has a background that covers everything from requirements gathering to electromechanical integration. Capabilities include: system architecture, initial breadboard prototypes, schematic capture (Altium, OrCad, Eagle, KiCad), PCB layout (Altium, OrCad, Eagle), along with pre-production prototype management and testing. The Overwatch hardware group can also troubleshoot existing designs as well as assist in reverse engineering products with outdated or unavailable documentation.
If it’s not a bridge, a car, or an implantable medical device, the mechanical team at Overwatch has likely been involved in some aspect of the product’s development. With experience in sheet metal parts, castings, extrusions, and machined components, the staff can develop a mechanical design to fit within your cost and performance parameters. One more thing…. Overwatch designs cool plastic parts as well!
Whether you’re looking for graphic design for web and mobile applications, or logo development and branding assistance, the Overwatch staff has the training and experience to exceed your expectations.
Embedded Firmware Development
The firmware resources that Overwatch can provide have the knowledge and experience to provide feature rich, user friendly, and robust applications. The team has the know how to efficiently implement applications using standards and protocols such as: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, USB, GPS, ANT, and Ethernet. Written in C/C++ and/or assembly languages across a multitude of embedded real-time operating systems. Microcontroller credentials include but not limited to Atmel, Microchip, SiLabs, Texas Instruments, and Freescale.
Being longstanding members of the Product Development community, has allowed Overwatch to weed through the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to prototype supplier relationships. Overwatch believes so strongly in the value of these relationships, they go beyond making introductions and instead stake professional reputations on the line when prototypes are required.

Production Sourcing / Support
Similar to the prototype resource network depth and experience, the Overwatch team has been bringing products through to production during their consulting lives and even way back when during their OEM days. Overwatch can provide production sourcing and coordination for PCBs (domestic and offshore), sheet metal, extrusions, custom machining, tooling and injection molding (domestic and offshore) along with complete box build services.
